LGBTQ Cannot Move The Rock Who is My Fortress!

Adolf Hitler blamed Jews for Germany's problems.  That's why six million were unjustly murdered and why millions of others accepted it.  The Jews were Hitler's scapegoat.  "If we do not learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it."  The time when persecution will come to Christians in the United States is no longer futuristic.  The time is now.

The LGBTQ (Lesbian Gay Bi-sexual Transgender and Questioning) agenda has risen both in strength and number in recent years.  Today, the spirit of the anti-Christ is strong and growing stronger in the minds of people - even in some who consider themselves to be Christian.  Recently, I have read several disturbing articles (listed below) regarding the indoctrination of the LGBTQ agenda into the minds of free men, women, and children.

When I talk about this topic, even with Christians, I am nervous, uncomfortable, and find myself choosing my words very carefully.  To be honest, I am scared.  And anytime I am afraid of people, I know the enemy and my sin-nature are present.  "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and discipline" (2 Timothy 1:7).  The spirit of fear is of sin and evil.  God never creates fear or embarrassment in His people.  On the contrary, Jesus declares, "If anyone is ashamed of Me, I will be ashamed of him" (Luke 9:26).  Instead, the spirit of God in the life of the believer boldly calls out, as David did, "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold" (Psalm 18:2).

Many Christians, when confronted with articles like the one you are reading or conversations regarding homosexuality run to a comfortable place.  They will argue: "Homosexuality is no different from murder or stealing.  All are sins in God's eyes."  This is, of course, true.  But the difference between homosexuality/same-sex marriage and other sins such as murder or stealing is that no one disagrees that murder or stealing are wrong.   Does that, then, justify same-sex marriage/homosexuality since many people think it's gray area?  Certainly, it does not.

Our attitude, then, as Christians cannot be one of acceptance and approval, but one of love for our enemies and the hope that they, too, will be a sinner redeemed by the Gospel of Christ - for all of us who are now Christ-followers were once living in sin.  Not one who is in Christ at this moment arrived there by any means other than the grace of Christ Jesus.  The apostle Paul writes as much to the Church in Corinth:
"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
For it was "while we were still sinners that Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

Love seeks the best for others.   The best for others is repentance and right-standing with God.  If we do not speak the truth of God and His Gospel, we hate our enemies and approve of their condemnation.

The LGBTQ "movement" is an agenda set forth by none other than the spirit of the anti-Christ.  This spirit is literally anti-Christ; that is, against Christ.  Many nice phrases are used to cover up the anti-Christs agenda, such as tolerance, equality, and liberty.  But let us not be fooled: the progressive agenda is exactly what its name states: progressive, moving on from the old-fashioned ways into newer and better territory. The progressive movement says, "Marriage between one man and one woman is old fashioned. So is the whole man and woman identity thing.  We're way beyond those old ways. Now, we can accept you if you're gay or bi or any other sort of identity."  Beware, oh Christian, of the spirit of the anti-Christ.  Anyone who practices or approves of the practice of homosexuality, adultery, murder, drunkenness, and any other form of evil is anti-Christ.  To all of them, their condemnation is just.

"Be sober-minded and alert; your enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8).  Even in the apostle Peter's day, he was calling for Christians to be right in their mind and aware of the agenda of the devil, our enemy, the forger of all anti-Christ thinking.

Why am I writing these things to you?  Because the time is here when God's people must choose whom they will serve: man or God.  It is hard - even among Christians - to talk about these things.  It is uncomfortable and uneasy.   But it is important to know and talk about the truth.  God does not ask us to move forward onto "newer and better" things, as the progressives are doing.  He commands us to stand firm.  He is our defense.   He is our fortress.  Those who run to Him are saved from the evil around them.

Are you standing? Or are you moving?  God requires that you stand.

Oh God, awaken us.  Not to social equality or even social justice, but to proclaim the Gospel in season and out of season - when we're comfortable and when we're uncomfortable.  Let us be ambassadors of the One True God, to speak boldly that all who practice such abominations will be prosecuted and convicted of rebellion toward God, and spend eternity in hell, only aware of Your holy and just wrath and never Your grace.  Oh God, let us be counted as worthy to bear the Name above every name.  Oh God, let us be found faithful, even as You are faithful to us.  Even if the civil authorities come to take me and mistreat me, I will sing of the Lord's faithfulness to His people.  Even if the Enemy may kill me and separate me from my earthly family, I will not fear, for God has only ever worked good for me, His child.  Praise be to God and to Jesus Christ and to His Spirit of comfort, joy, and peace.  Amen.
